I used my JR West discount to go to nearby Kinosaki. Since it was summer, I wanted to skip restaurants that focused on crab and seafood, so I went to this Italian restaurant. It's a unique place tucked away in the back of a building that looked like it was under construction. The man who showed me around was very friendly and seemed to have a deep knowledge of food and drinks. I prefer the Spanish prosciutto and paella, but the Italian wines that were paired with the food and the overall balance were simply excellent. The gin from FERDINANDO was particularly delicious. The main restaurant is OKU, which is open from morning, and YOL is apparently a hermit crab. I'd like to bring friends back for another meal.

Super cool space and atmosphere. Very chill with an avant garde minimalist/industrial esthetic. The food? EVERYTHING we tried was fantastic. Stopped in for breakfast and wished we could stay for lunch and dinner. 10 of 10 will come back!!

Food is exceptional. The kindness and care of the staff makes this place extra special. You must visit for at least once (we did several times).

Just have dinner here and so surprise with the restaurant. The restaurant is very nice, good music. Their staffs are very helpful and friendly. The foods are very delicious and tasty from the first bite. Highly recommend their potato salad, it’s really really delicious.
